UK emergency alert test this weekend

Hi All,

There's going to be a test of the UK's emergency alert system on Sunday 23rd April, which means that most smartphones and tablets will make a loud sound and vibrate for about 10 seconds at 3pm (even if set to silent). I don't think this has been broadcast widely enough, and wanted to make sure as many people are prepared as possible!

    Not everyone will know this, as not everyone reads the or watches the news. 

    I for one will be making sure I am indoors at that time as think of the amount of accidents that could happen, people who turned their phone off only to hear it come back on and start beeping.
