Private diagnosis adult female recommendations

Hi,

For those that have paid privately for diagnosis where did you go? How did you decide where to go? How much did it cost?

As an adult female who on the outside may seem to be coping with the world I want to make sure where I go for an assessment is very experienced in this area. Im happy to travel (UK) for the right place.

    Psychiatry UK - https://psychiatry-uk.com/ - it cost me £900 per person in February of this year. They have female clinicians, which my daughter made use of. I went for a male consultant psychiatrist. It was quite straightforward and I had an online assessment about 4 weeks after booking one.

    I wanted a provider that also did NHS work, so that they would be NHS registered. I looked for clinicians who had specialisms in autism and adult autism in particular.
