GB News (New British News Network)

*Precision I have no political affiliation. I subscribe to no political dogma or movement. I have highlighted this new news channel as a much needed antidote to the partisan news we are currently subjected to. Will it be free from bias? No, but at least we all get to see the extremes of both sides of the political divide. I get my news from an entirely independant team  who are committed to delivering non-partisan, professional journalism. Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. It's a fearless anti-establishment Youtube show and podcast with contributors from across the political divide. Their aim is to cut through the media bias. Breaking Points Non-Partisan News & Analysis Precision*

Britain's got a new TV network. The new British network has vowed to fight "cancel culture" and reflect voices not heard in the partisan mainstream media and state-controlled BBC. A spokesperson for GB News said its aim was to "puncture the pomposity of our elites in politics, business, media and academia and expose their growing promotion of cancel culture for the threat to free speech and democracy that it is".

Cancel Culture is the term given to left-wing and left-leaning attempts at suppressing of free expression and political diversity by permanently shaming and ostracising individuals who threaten their political and social orthodoxy.

She was killed by Thomas Mair, a white supremacist amongst other things....

  • Looks like something, somewhere has hit a nerve.

Mykal. Why would anyone vote for a party that wants to sell off the NHS. Increase austerity so that the sick and unemployed are pushed further into a wall. Slash education budgets. Keep the minimum wage low, whilst creating more tax havens for the super rich, who really and truly do look down on the working classes, that is anyone who is just surviving and for whom any setback may be sending them on their way to beg for food parcels.

  • Simple, Britain is not benefitting from Brexit. The British people have been sold a dud.

  • ButvVadlis, wasn't the whole red bus thing prppoganda? Boris admitted the very next day that the whole NHS thing was a lie!

And just how is the UK benefiting from Brexit now, anyway?

  • What makes you so sure I'm not working class Mykal? You sound as though you have had some education too, so could it be you are something of a working-class hero paragon? Using that great epithet 'working clsss' to cudgel anyone who challenges you the way your despised lefties use political correctness to shut up their detractors? Perhaps you need to make sure who it is you are pointing the finger first before you heap all your bitterness and anger on my head.

I am not calling Labour the good guys at all. I am talking about the principles alongside the people they were supposed to represent. The fact that Labour has in recent years, too often betrayed these is not the argument I am trying to make.

And it wasn't the EU who took away your future, it was the unholy alliance  Cameron, Duncan Smith and Osborne. Austerity. Blame the sick and unemployed, divide and rule. Genius, when you think about it.

So maybe if more UK people did actually try and think rather than he set off by knee-jerk grudges, the UK wouldn't be destroying itself from within, as it is currently. And the reason why I harp on' about Brexit Mykal, is because I wasn't even given the right to vote in it, despite the fact it would mean, in 2016, that I would lose my rights to work and settle in the EU at one stroke.

  • This is what humans are like. I prefer cats and machines.

  • I don't know why they call them "parties", the music is rubbish and there's never any cake.

  • I am poor, I am uneducated, I will never climb out of the inner-city hole/decaying seaside town I was born in, but hey..... I am British (bang chest).

Of course, it's the people who are wrong. They're just too stupid, too uneducated and too racist to vote for us.

I used to think political parties were supposed to represent the will of the people who support it, but obviously not in the case of the Labour party. It's the other way round, it's the people's job to represent and support the will of the Party. But they're just too dumb and attached to their working-class seaside towns to know what's good for them, right?

I would never want to be a member of a political party whose members held those kind of views.

  • Those who traditionally voted Labour but swung to the Tories should have focused on changing Labour instead of selling the UK down the river.

A typical arrogant elitist assumption. I didn't desert the Labour Party, Nexus, nor did its millions of traditional supporters. The Labour Party deserted us. No party has a divine right to govern WITHOUT the democratic support of the majority of the voting population. No party has the morally authority to be elected WITHOUT the democratic support of the majority of the voting population.

Stop blaming the people of the UK for the failures of a political party and its arrogant, tunnel-visioned base. No one with any ounce of self-respect wants to vote for a party whose supporters treat you with disdain.  Even now, you are still harping on about the EU and Brexit and the results of a democratic referendum which took place in 2016 and the results of which you cannot accept. You're no better than the fanatics who support Trump in his ridiculous Stop The Steal crusade. If you'd have had your way, you'd have forced another referendum upon us all, and another, and another until the result was the one you wanted. It's awful. This is why people (like me) have deserted Labour in their millions because of people like you and your arrogance and disdain for working-class people and the real struggles they face as apposed to the first-world problems of the middle class such as where will you be able to buy the freshest avocados, or isn't it simply awful that people assume someone's gender before asking them which personal pronouns they re most comfortable with. Labour have deserted the very people who built and supported the party for the lucrative crusade of identity politics, hatred of the British patriotism, mixed with a despicable strain of pro-islamic anti-semitism. As both local and national elections continue to demonstrate, there is no constituency for that politics in the UK. That's why the Left continues to lose power nationwide and its support has plummeted to an historic low.

  • your kinda right, the more important scale is the authoritarian/libertarian up/down scale on the chart.

but you still make the mistake in the claim that you think that labour and the left are the good guys.... when they are the ones pretty much starting modern day witch hunts and getting people fired from their jobs and killed and having their lives ruined for having different political stances. they are the ones persecuting people for political opinion. and who called the poor "uneducated ignorant racists?" ... thats right... LABOUR DID! lol

and i too cant afford to move out of 3 miles of where i was born.... membership of the EU didnt make me be able to move, you still had to pay travel costs which you cannot afford, and the time it takes which your not allowed in life. the travel benefits of EU membership was only for the middle class, not for us common poor folk. so why be so for membership of the EU to pay them 50 billion per year for benefits that are only for the privileged few that can afford it anyway themselves outside the EU? ... the only thing the EU funds, well they dont fund anything because we fund them and they use a portion of the money we give them to "fund" us with when its our money in the first place and they pocket most of it and give us like 10% back of our own money, and all that money is spent on is stickers that say "funded by the EU" which is a lie because we fund them and thats our money, and all they use it on is propaganda stickers of which it was leaked on day they even budgeted it in their papers as propaganda. and yet the stuff they stick it on has nowt to do with them anyway and is funded by private british business hired by british staffhere in the uk to do the work hired by british firms. all they did was use a bit of the money we pay them to buy a sticker that claims they funded it and put the sticker on things. thats pure propaganda.

  • Lefty, shlefty, who cares. With the ***, who wanted to create the perfect society and a perfected humanity, it is by their fruits that you know them.

Opponents to the Nazi regime soon started 'disappearing.' That's not lefty, nor rightly, that's totalitarianism. Wilhem Reich always said it didn't matter whether a movement was left or right, you had to watch how it treated its dissidents. And whether or not it needs scapegoats.

Humans deemed a drain on society were soon being quietly taken away and euthanized for the good of this perfect society, children too. Including those with autism.........

Those who traditionally voted Labour but swung to the Tories should have focused on changing Labour instead of selling the UK down the river. To yet more inequality, poverty, the scapegoating of the poor. And currently bankruptcy of farmers and fishermen and any other kind of small business that needed to be able to trade with Europe. The right to trade, work and live in 27 other countries That too is a well-known tactic of those who don't generally have the best interests of its people at heart - appealing to nationalism, which some define as a form of narcissism. I am poor, I am uneducated, I will never climb out of the inner-city hole/decaying seaside town I was born in, but hey..... I am British (bang chest). Now where are those furriners I can go and blame for all those woes. Let's twist everything round and listen to those spewing out hate and disinformation from the trolls farms to help appease my sense of aggrievement and make out it is the very people who wanted more equality who are to blame.

  • There are no heroes on either side of the political divide. There are, however, scores of villains.

    Here are the historical facts:

    1. The *** were ardent socialists (hence the term "National socialism").
    2. They believed in free health care and guaranteed jobs.
    3. They confiscated inherited wealth and spent vast sums on public education.
    4. They purged the church from public policy, promoted a new form of pagan spirituality.
    5. They *** declared war on smoking, supported abortion, euthanasia, and gun control.
    6. They loathed the free market, provided generous pensions for the elderly.
    7. They maintained a strict racial quota system in their universities--where campus speech codes were all the rage.
    8. They led the world in organic farming and alternative medicine.
    9. Hitler was a strict vegetarian.
    10. Himmler was an animal rights activist.

Fascism was an international movement that appeared in different forms in different countries, depending on the vagaries of national culture and temperament.  Woke supremacy is as malign as white supremacy because they share the same nefarious intellectual roots. It is hard to deny the similarities between modern progressivism and classical fascism. In the early 20th century, fascism appeared as genocidal racism within the socialist movements of Europe.  In the late 20th century and early 21st century it has taken on a "friendlier" form.  If we can't learn from the past, we are doomed to keep repeating the same horrors and injustices in the future.

  • Intelligence requires us to all look at what we are believing about the world and which political ideology we are carrying water for. If we can't do that, then we are doomed to keep repeating the horrors and injustices of the past.

  • you wouldnt.... i hated the tories, im from the north, i was stereotypical labour voter. if my facebook was still active you can go back to david camerons elections to see me post that the people of this country are thick for voting him in, then they voted him in again after he failed to deliver his promises and i even called him out saying hes using brexit and is never gonna give us the referendum and hes only using it to get votes and not actually deliver it. i called him out on his changes to welfare too. when did i switch? .... when the labour party insulted all of us, called us uneducated racist scum for what we wanted.... we felt partyless then, thats when the entire north abandoned labour despite our histoic traditional always vote labour and hate tories ideology.

  • im not even far right, im left wing who has been called right by the very far left that have forcefully shifted the overton window to make out that the standard left is now right.... that is dangerous and a cancer and this is why the "right is growing" as the media say.... its not that the right is growing at all, its that the far left have shifted the overton window to make the left now be called the right, and so ofcourse it appears to grow when you do that, and they need to be stopped for that because doing that makes them the *** as they also lump it in with making out the right should be illegal and not allowed and is bad, and everyone is the right to them, even the left.... you see, those guys are the ***, stop defending them. they will come for you next because you will realise they shifted the overton window to make you be the right too, your just not informed or experienced enough with these people yet

  • and yet neither of that addresses anything and veers off as if you conceded defeat on the topic and then got salty to pick and insult other things.
