I've been banned from a few forums in my lifetime (Mumsnet, for example).
Every time has shocked and upset me.
People assume I'm a troll and I'm left with that familiar feeling: "I don't understand what I've done wrong; am I living in a parallel universe to everyone else?"
The rejection stings and baffles me.
Does this happen to anyone else?
I am banned from a few places. My honesty and disputatious nature does for me. The inability to mask.
Oh I love the word disputatious! A new word for me :) I too am disputatious, but I'm not sure that's precisely what angered the folk on Mumsnet. It's like they didn't believe what I said was true. Or they picked apart my wording, focusing on phrases and style rather than content.
Going to need it with my levels of insanity. I've spent the last 48 hrs alienating her in different ways. Not helped by the arrival of a third woman. Facebook!

Nearly all the drama in my Nt Social groups was caused by women being bitchy. If it was just blokes i'd still being scratching my *** having beers with them all now. That's not all that women are though of course. They have also have loads of positive things about them.
You're right then it's very different! haha. You only have to see the cultural stigma associated with being a strange man to know that it would be different. I'm chatting up an ASD woman now and she's nothing like me. Successful, three degrees, also never had a problem attracting mates.
I grew up with sisters, three of whom were teenagers at the same time. I can confidently, yet quietly, corroborate what you have stated lol.
It's probably 'easier' being an ASD woman, given that we seem to mask more efficiently. Also I've had no problem getting partners as a heterosexual ASD woman. In fact, men seem to like my Autistic quirks.
A lot women aren't fans of other women. Despite the official sisterhood and all that jazz. Something i've noticed. Of course the same could be said of the relationships between men (safely digs self out of hole). I have no idea what it's like to be an ASD woman. So possibly you could illuminate me.
