I am as some will know experiencing great difficulties with my employer.
My employer has at last decided to accommodate me, they contacted NAS task for support by way of advocacy and were told, we don't have anybody able to advocate for adults.
I find this shocking what is going on? I'm sure if I was a child they would be jumping through hoops to help. Has anybody else got any experiences of this?
Can they not refer you to a local support group?
Hi, try Remploy, their Access To Work scheme will give you 9 months support Here's a link for them www.remploy.co.uk/.../workplace-mental-health-support-service-employers
Hope this helps
Hi Bookworm. I feel so let down by NAS that I have openly criticised the lack of support for adults and I will be surprised if I will even be able to post this as I appear to be actively blocked!
I’m obviously being closely monitored, since my other post was definitely blocked.
Cheeky emoji obviously not allowed.
By the way, they don’t answer sensible, concerned emails either.
Hi Stephen, no that wasn't mentioned.
I will do thanks for the link
yea I know its a charity but there does also seem to be a bit of postcode lottery going on as well.
