Confidence building for 10 year old boy

Hi, 

I'm looking for some advice please... I'm based in the North West and have a 10 year old son who is autistic. Whilst he's soaring academically, he struggles a lot emotionally. He's a rule follower and needs to be doing everything right, all of the time. He doesn't like to be center of attention and will try his best to blend in, in every situation. 

We're really trying to develop his confidence, particularly before he has to go to high school and wondered if anyone had come across any useful confidence building courses or groups either online or in the north west?
