My son really struggles to wear shoes, he used to pull the velcro so tight but je has got to the stage where no matter how tight he makes it, it isn't tight enough for him so he refuses to wear shoes.
I was thinking of trying him with compression socks to see if the tightness from those helps, however I'm struggling to find any in a children's size.
Has anyone bought some for children before? If so where from?

Might this have something to do with his arches or ankles? I wonder if you could get insoles made. I have narrow feet and high arches and found Birkenstock insoles mostly help for shoes or really supportive trainers. But I do wear wedges about the house as they ease the stress on my feet.
