My son is 8 has ASC and language delay. I’ve noticed he says waterlemon instead of watermelon and ice cream leaf instead of nice green leaf. Is this autism or something else?
I have no idea, but saying words wrong isn't uncommon, even in older people. My grandad called a museum a mezooum and my partners gran called chipolatas chipolalees, and nosy parkers became snooky pokers.
