Desperately seeking a secondary school

Hi, 

Our 9yr old daughter has been diagnosed as High Functioning Autistic, she is currently in year 5 at a private school base in Surrey.

We have recently had her EHCP application refused and are in the process on starting an appeal through mediation.

Our dilemma is that her current school, who have been hugely supportive throughout, don't have the resources and feel she needs more specialist help when she reaches secondary school, however the panel decision for the EHCP felt her requirements could be met in a standard setting.

We don't feel this this the case, however that's not the point of this post...

While we are progressing the EHCP we also need to look into secondary schools that she could transition to in the surrey area that cold support her more, be that mainstream or private.
