I took my 10 year old to get new shoes today. He hasn't had any in over a year and he gets very attached to his shoes. It took a lot of convincing to get him to the shoe shop. We went to our local Clarks. They measured him at a 2E then proceeded to bring out a red pair of trainers that he loved in a 2F - only for him to be told they didn't fit properly so he couldn't have them. The only other pairs actually in his size were a pair that were red and black which had elastic laces and he found impossible to put on and a blue and black pair which he refused to even try. I have scoured the internet and can't seem to find any red trainers in a 2E. The Aeon Shoes that he tried on and loved come in 7 colours and the only colour in an E fitting were pink! I have emailed to complain! I just don't know what to do. His feet are so narrow, we can't just get him any pair but I simply can't find what we need. We usually go to Johnson's shoes but they are in administration so options are v limited.
Any ideas? Anyone?!
