Just a bit of fun...
In detail (what else?), what do you have on your desk - or wherever it is you sit to do your work?
Here goes for me:
* Pot of pens and pencils (seashore design on the pot)
* 'Wine-glass' tealight holder
* Tall carved wooden candle stick with candle, standing on crocheted doily
* Mini teddy bear wearing a jumper with a snowman design
* LED desk lamp
* Phones - landline and mobile (Sony Xperia)
* Photo of mum, aged about 20
* VW Campervan mug of coffee, on a rose-design coaster
* Headphones (JVC)
* Asus 27" monitor
* Microsoft mouse on recycled tyre mouse-mat (from the Alternative Technology Centre in Wales)
* TalkTalk internet router
* HP Envy 5540 all-in-one printer
* 2 memory sticks
* Gas lighter for candles
* Day-glo yellow highlighter pen
* Packet of salmon Dreamies treats for Daisy
* Microsoft keyboard (photo of Daisy on-screen)
* Shadows
...and here it is, minus the mobile - which I needed to take the photo!
Lucky you...yesterday my Bengal cat decided she needed to sleep directly on my laptop keyboard whilst I was trying to work!,
glad the monitor is wide enough to capture Daisy in her full stretched out glory!!
Looks just like Daisy in close-up!
Nope....she's definitely my cat!!! Lol
besides her..usually books, reading glasses, obligatory cup of coffee/glass of wine - depending on the time of day..., iPad, mobile phone....radio on in the background (usually 6 music)...which helps to keep me focused ...surprisingly..
Willy Rushton
'I'm Sorry, I Haven't a Clue' or 'The News Quiz' were always my favourites. Not really listened for about a year, though.
Also listen to music online.....it depends on my mood...daytime....general listening and blots out the sense of being isolated....evening for mood, unwinding, cathartic cleansing....which can range from classical, opera, punk, folk.....anything....depends on where my head is at....from Pink Floyd to Mozart and back again......and every where in between
headphone moments.....needed
Hate it.....but it is enough for people to scuttle off and leave me in peace....
Love Just a Minute..... Nicolas Parsons has the professionalism of a saint!
Radio 4 Extra is my favourite station although I also listen to Radio 4, Radio 5 and the World Service. I am not keen on commercial stations due to the adverts.
I have an Internet radio on my bedside table and use t listen to the above as well as stations like Relic Radio Crime. There is even a channel dedicated to Just a Minute.
My depression makes it a struggle to listen music.
Ironing? You actually do ironing?
Usually 4 or 2 for me. Sometimes Classic FM, but I don't like commercial radio. I'll try 6 music, though.
I don't have a TV, so the internet is my entertainment system. I only stream music now. Not bought anything for years. Films and documentaries - they do me.
