I like them all
If I were to do Dog Walks in Nature, would it count as Meditating as well?
I can't decide if it would or not

There is a free app called plum village created by zen Buddhist monks there are walking meditations on there and much more. It’s bona fide rather than marketed stuff. You can also download to your device to access them off line.
To my mind, the ‘Headspace Walking Meditation’ is ‘mindfulness’ rather than ‘meditation’ because it doesn’t require moving the attention from awareness of your surroundings and body to focusing solely on breathing, a mantra, or an image in such a way that the mind may become unaware of self and surroundings.
Nonetheless, the walking meditation is still a beneficial thing to do for the mind and body.
Thank you - will look at link!
I would call it a walking meditation. You could try forest bathing- while the dog mooches around!
You can have walking meditation, but if you're doing via an app, then I question if it is really meditation? Meditation means different things to different people, I'm a bit of a purist in that to me meditation is silent, sedentry and focussed, but there are plenty of chanters out there too.
I think you can enjoy being out in nature and be mindful with your dog walk, but I think there are to many distractions for it to be meditation.
I use headspace but thought I might be able to combine all three!
I looked up Headspace and I see it's an app so maybe you can.
My idea of meditation might be out of date as I would expect it to be fairly sedentary and focused.
Thank you

I've had a quick glance at the link and it looks like an interesting read - going to save it so I can read it properly later, as having tea soon!
I don't think so.
Here is an explanation of meditation:
