Advent begins!

Aw that’s so lovely that you get to put your birthday gifts under the tree as well. What are you hoping to get for your birthday?

I’m excited but not excited if that makes sense. I’m excited because everything looks and feels festive, decorations are up, Xmas music is playing.. I can wear my Xmas jumper without people giving me looks like they do when it’s summer. But town is busier now, people are everywhere and it’s noisy. This is the part of it I don’t like. But luckily I’ve been able to do most of my Xmas shopping online so I haven’t had to brave the crowded shops too much.

For Xmas I’m hoping to get some new paints as I do a lot of painting and my supplies are running a bit low.. Some new brushes would be nice too.

I'm hoping to be home for Xmas but I don't know how possible it'll be as I'm working away at the moment. That will be a bit rough but I’m grateful I can whatsapp my family so we can at least keep in touch over the festive period. But keeping my fingers crossed that I can be home by Xmas Eve.

Aww I hope you will be home for xmas but thats the beauty of wats app I guess. Think my mum will be wats sapping me as well. I’ll get my presents on Christmas Eve I think then I have to keep sending pics to prove I haven’t opened any presents until Christmas Day and when I say Christmas Day, I have to wait until like 8am, can’t open on midnight lol! I’m hoping to get a make up brush cleaner, some nintendo stuff, skin care stuff, the usual really lol! 

I completely get that about the crowds. My parents have found that doing shopping after tea time seems to be a good time as it’s quieter and the shelves still seem to be stocked up. I only really like going out of a night and driving around to see the lights.

My birthday was last Friday but yes I got to put the presents under the tree so it was a nice little early Christmas lol! I got some Laura geller make up and a lava lamp, also got a few sims 4 expansion packs too! 

It’s only 13 days till Christmas!! 

Thank you! I really hope so too. I love being with my family at Xmas, it’s a nice quiet environment usually so I always look forward to it. Are you a present opener or feeler or both? I’m not as bad now but when I was younger I used to feel the presents and if the excitement got too much for me I would open a present or two. My parents weren’t happy if I got caught! One time I did it and then rewrapped it so no one would know lol! Lol buy yourself some wrapping paper and then open and rewrap them at midnight, it worked for me

I hope you get all those nice things for Xmas this year. I need more make up stuff, I only wear it occasionally but not for long because my skin is super sensitive! But I do like to pretty myself up sometimes.

That’s a good idea I might try shopping later. Sometimes I don’t finish work until like 6-7pm so I could go after, that way I miss the rush hour traffic then as well. I like driving at night as well the Xmas lights and decorations look lovely in the dark. What I dislike is the LEDs on the cars they’re so bright and it’s blinding in the dark.

Happy belated birthday! I hope you enjoyed it. Your presents sound lovely.. the lava lamp sounds nice too I’ve always wanted one of them lol! Christmas next...

Yippee!!! I’m watching the Christmas Chronicles movie tonight. Soooo excited for Xmas Day!

Aww thank you for your understanding. It was really rotten but I’m feeling better now and have enjoyed Xmas baking today. I made some gingerbread men and a cute reindeer cookie. Omg I’m sorry! Neighbours can be the worst they really can lol! I’m sorry yours have been being such a pain.. but good thinking capturing video evidence, keep that safe and then if it escalates you can use it. Have you got any noise cancelling headphones? I was thinking something like that would help when your neighbours start banging. Sometimes my neighbours on the left can play really loud music *rolls eyes* so I always put on my noise cancelling headphones then. They’re an absolute lifesaver lol!

Aww nice that sounds so lovely! Sounds like you have a close bond with your mum. I wish I got to spend a bit more time with my mum than I do. Been a long time since I got to spend a whole evening with her.

Yeah bit rubbish but hey at least I’m not working all day Xmas Eve and I get to drive home when it’s light so at least I won’t be blinded by all the horrible LED lights in the dark lol! Hopefully you’ll still have a fab Xmas despite the bad neighbours. You’ll be so busy with your make up stuff and Yoshi Nintendo gift card you’ll not notice the neighbours I bet! I don’t think anyone’s hinted about what I might be getting so I’ve no idea. Yeah longest 9 days ever lol!!!! Xmas Eve is the longest day ever though I think. I can’t get to sleep on that night way too excited lol.

Omg yeah and they all do it to! Lights flashing, horns going and speeding past either making a rude gesture or actually hear them shout it out their window. And there’s never police around when they do it I’ve noticed. Although funny but true story, a couple of years ago I’d finished work late and was driving home on the motorway. Three modern flashy cars sped up, flashing their lights because I was doing the speed limit. They shot past me and then the overhead speed cameras got them! All 3 flashed! Probably one of my fave that’s karma moments. I’m sorry your mums Toyota is playing up. I have a Mini Cooper and it’s mostly reliable but it does have this weird fault where the ABS light keeps coming on and off. I’m not technically minded with cars so I just hope it all stays working lol! My street is lined with Audis, BMWs and Tesla’s mostly. And the people who own them all think they’re better than everyone else! Like you said people boast and they make it their mission to let you know it. Yeah I think you’re right, I don’t think they are nice looking, I think people just say it because they’re rich enough to drive these supposed to be amazing cars. I’d rather have my Mini any day and be a nice person than boastful and rude.

Aww well I’m really glad you have your mum. I always think of my mum as my best friend and it sounds like your mum is yours too. My mum is much the same very understanding of my situation and the things I struggle with. Being asked questions constantly must be frustrating and exhausting! I’m really sorry you have to put up with that. Sounds awful for you xx.

I haven’t played any of them for a long time but I find myself really wanting to play them again. Must be nostalgia or something lol! You can’t buy them on Steam or EA App unfortunately. Yeah the later Simpsons are pretty bad and it pains me to say that lol! I think the best was from season 1-16 for me. I really enjoyed them.

Lol I like Patty and Selma as well! There’s a funny episode where Sideshow Bob tries to kill Selma, it’s an early one but so funny lol!

Hiya Penny! Don’t you worry about the late reply, so sorry you haven’t been too good lately but glad to hear you are better now! Ugh I had an awful weekends thanks to the neighbours giving me a hard time. Plus they keep banging on my door each morning but I have video evidence so if I am able to take action then I have proof. I had a lovely evening with my mum yesterday though so that was nice. 

Aww I’m sorry you have to work Christmas Eve but at least you still get some time off in the evening and Christmas Day so that great! Yeah I’m hoping my Christmas will be good but with the issues I’m getting from the neighbours I worry I’m not going to have a good time. Also my Nintendo membership runs out on Christmas Day, forgot I renewed it on Christmas Day last year lol! As for presents my mum has hinted about the make up brush cleaner and a yoshi Nintendo gift card but who knows, have to wait a long nine days lol! 

Omg don’t get me started on all these BMWs, Audis, Mercs, bentlys, tezlas etc! I am fed up with the about of flashing the lights, the honking of the horns and speeding past whilst giving the ride gestures. My mum has a 2007 toyota and that car is like a sibling to me but it’s playing up now. Unfortunately though even when it’s functioning we get all these young people and young parents being so rude to us and even calling us old grandmas! Not to mention them laughing at us in a nasty way as well. You are lucky to see a hyundi or something these days! I mean every weekday all the six formers who park along my road all have flaming audis or that and have to brag about their money and rich families! Why do people have to boast? Also are these people actually nice looking? I ask this because that’s what I’ve been told and if I don’t think they’re nice looking them I’m too jealous and stubborn to admit it but I really honestly don’t think they are nice looking but apparently I’m jealous and stubborn. Been gaslighted. 

Yeah only my mum seems to understand my autism and other conditions or is at least more accepting of them all. Say if I explain to anyone else they just constantly ask me questions until I am unable to answer and then they say I can’t be that bad if I can’t answer all the questions. 

Aww I’m here for you if you ever want to chat with me as well, feel free to add me if you want but it’s ok if you prefer not to! I understand. 

Omg I want to play road rage and Simpsons game as well! But hit and run is like one of my all time favourites! I’ve watched the majority of the Simpsons but I have found the later episodes to be really bad. I mean it’s like they are running out of ideas if you ask me. I only really like the selma and patty ones as those two make me laugh so much! Especially in hit and run lol!

It’s nice you’ll be happy on your own at Xmas and at least if you need some social interaction you can message people. It’s times like this where technology is so useful! I really need to try and go away at some point, I love going to the beach and watching the ocean and build sandcastles!

I love feeling presents and trying to guess what they are lol! Books are usually pretty easy and so are dolls, I know the feel of the packaging usually lol. Lol good thing you couldn’t open the lava lamp and use the liquid inside lol.. I wonder what it feels/smells like? Omg how did you sit there with the presents and not just lunge at them lol! I guess your mum watching you probably helped. I like the Simpsons hit and run and the Simpsons Game. I also enjoyed road rage that was super fun. I love the Simpsons, I’ve seen every single episode released so far!
I’m also trying to collect all the Simpsons funko pops.

The lights are blinding it’s crazy! These really new LEDs are bright white and when the car is coming towards you you literally can’t see a thing. It’s so dangerous and I’m just surprised that it’s actually legal. My car is from 2008 and it’s a lot lower than a lot of the tall suv type cars you get now and unfortunately it seems to be the same height as most headlights. I wish I could wear sunglasses at night lol! I’m so sorry your dad wouldn’t let you use your sunglasses, must be so frustrating when people don’t listen to you! Sadly a huge percentage of drivers are super boastful when it comes to their cars, it’s like having a certain car is a status symbol. Like Audi cars and BMW always speed past me to show off.

I love driving but it’s stressful. I wish there was less people on the road loL!

Aww I’m so sorry you were bullied like that by your manager! That’s terrible what a horrible thing to do. Just so you know you’re not ugly! People bully and say horrible things when they’re insecure. So your manager was just taking it out on you but it’s not true. Please don’t think it is. I haven’t been in a relationship either but I know that someone will love you not just your appearance but also your personality and all those things that make you: you.
