I've always been fond of gaming and have always enjoyed spending my free time on playing video games. I'm curious, does anyone else here have an interest in gaming and if so, what videogames do you enjoy?

When my ps2 is able to read the disc I’m playing Simpsons hit and run all over again. I find that it’s the one game I’m able to actually enjoy and not feel guilty or disturbed about lately but also find it a good stress reliever too. Though I actually failed a mission on level one Didn’t think Mr Smithers had it in him to beat me at a race lol
Still focused on Resident Evil, must have been playing the games over and over again for two or three weeks now, still not bored although I get the sense this new found excitement for the series will not last that much longer. I’m starting to realise that I must try to get my head into something else before I run out of dopamine from the games entirely. Perhaps I’ll be able to instantly switch over to a new interest before this one’s been used up. I hope so because I hate being bored and unsure what to focus on so much!
When I wrote a lot of music back in college I dreamed of possibly writing music for puzzle games. Still seems like a dream job.
Have you tried The Last Of Us part 1 or 2 ?
Part 2 is especially amazing and I have spent many many hours engrossed in gameplay. I have not found a game like this for such a long time. I have managed to extend the game by searching for loot and exploring everything. A game is not complete for me unless I have done and collected everything.
Do you like Stardew Valley?
I’ve always found puzzle games really calming, especially on tough days when my head feels too busy. They help me focus and keep my hands busy without being too noisy or stressful. Sometimes I play them to wind down before bed or during lunch breaks. It feels good to solve something without pressure or timers going off all the time.
I love gaming. I have been enjoying gaming since a child. I am now in my 50's. During my earlier adult years, whilst I had young children I found I had little time to game so I took a 20 year or so break. About 8 years ago I started out again and now game pretty much every evening after work. I mainly play on my Xbox and I enjoy games that are not too challenging and ones which get my dopamine flowing.
Yes I love playing Pokémon, Digimon, Mario and Zelda Video games.
I was a big fan for a few years. Walk around and shoot stuff. Stand in one place and shoot stuff. Collect all the collectable stuff. Put stuff in a nice order from left to right. That's me. I had a similar attitude to Minecraft. I just did mining. I had a system. I could keep it up for hours.
My attention span being what it is, though, I eventually took up cycling instead. Then counting steps. Then reading. Then reading while counting steps. Then... well, clearly, I have dopamine issues.
Funnily enough that was the first tank I played and it felt pretty good to play, yeah I don't do healing that much haha
