"It's the most horrible time of the year" I sing this every year. Lol. Christmas is the worst. A horrible nightmare that lasts too long and gets too much hype.
I saw in a shop today they're already selling Christmas sweets, calendars and I saw an advert on TV and it's not even been Halloween yet! But it begs the question...
What are you doing this Christmas?
Undoubtedly I'll have family over. The lights will be too bright. I'll be forced to socialise. And I'll have to go to the Christmas work party. December is a long old month. I hate it. Please someone shoot me with a sleeping dart and let me sleep through it.
It's crazy isn't it? Where I am they've already started selling advent calendars as well as sweets and decorations.
I've always hated this time of year for the obvious reasons - too loud, too busy, bright lights and the streets and shops are packed! It's the most un-autistic friendly thing out there.
This year is going to be worse than usual as my friend Luna died at the start of the year and as I lost my daughter a few years before this will be a lonely Christmas, so I will likely spend it here.
To be honest, f it's got to be Christmas then I'd rather spend it here with my online family.
The world goes crazy at Christmas time and it's too much.

I only joined this NAS forum etc into this year so have never experienced being on it during the festive period. I presume it continues as usual during that time too, so that's something

I remember crying as a child when I decorated the tree with my mum, I hated the feel of tinsel on my skin.
