It may be September, but we’re keen to hear your stories of how you make Christmas work for you or how you make Christmas autism-friendly. We know that while Christmas can be an exciting time for some autistic people, it can also be overwhelming due to increased sensory experiences, changes in routines, and expectations about how to celebrate.
We’d love to hear your stories of how you make the festive season work for you, and your family and friends. Share your experience below or by emailing stories@nas.org.uk
Christmas?
No thanks ^^
If that season could be erased from history I wouldn't miss it :)
If it were erased from history, I wonder what religions we would now have in the world ...(instead of those based on the 'story' of Christ) ...
I wonder whether many of the older, pagan beliefs would have survived.
Omg I wish I could see an alternate reality where Christmas isn't a thing
It would be so interesting to see what's different in the world if Christmas wasn't a thing.
I bet it would be a better world. It would for autistic people anyway lol :)
