Christmas Stories

It may be September, but we’re keen to hear your stories of how you make Christmas work for you or how you make Christmas autism-friendly. We know that while Christmas can be an exciting time for some autistic people, it can also be overwhelming due to increased sensory experiences, changes in routines, and expectations about how to celebrate.

We’d love to hear your stories of how you make the festive season work for you, and your family and friends. Share your experience below or by emailing stories@nas.org.uk

  • When I went to Home Bargains, I looked for the "alleged" presence of 35p noodles.  They do not exist at my local store !  You could buy 3 packets of cheap noodles for £1.20.....but no individual packets for 35p.

Don't worry, I will be able to forgive you for the false hope and false promotion that you inflicted upon me....but it will be difficult and will take time.

    Wounded Number.
