I can do a backflip and I can mimic most voices I hear. The mimicking is a special talent, according to my MH nurse. I used to have an almost photographic memory but recently I lost it, my memory is patchy now.
Yay!
Isn't it amazing?
I can read the writing of the past, however long ago it was written. I can tell the stories of people long forgotten, if ever they picked up a pen.
Obscure, but fascinating.
Me three! (Not with utter reliability, but well enough to delight and amaze me.)
Me too.
I have done SO MANY "cool" things, but the snag is:
Whenever I do such things, they aren't "cool"...
But some of what you guys doo is super cool.
I've known people who can do that. Pretty cool
He’s like.. “cheese? Where?”..
Aww.
I don't know if it's cool but I can do the alphabet backwards.
Hi Ross I'm so sorry about that. I didn't realise it wasn't allowed but I'll be more careful next time and make sure I'm not in any of the pics I upload.
Number here's Floppy on his birthday
I love this pic because he actually looks like he's posing for it
Hi Sparkles, Sorry but I'm afraid I have had to take your picture down because of our rules about identifying information, specifically rule 2 of our Community Rules - https://community.autism.org.uk/p/rules -
This is to protect the privacy and safety of our users. Photos of dogs are still allowed though! Best wishes, Ross - mod
Animals are the best you can have really deep connection's with them something I find difficult with actual people.
I have a dog Floppy and am closer to him than anybody else. When I'm with him he loves to snuggle up and just sits and listens to me talk

Ive pretty weak knees unfortunately, I always have, every time I get on a trampoline I utterly destroy them..
But Im absolutely seamless when skittering along rocky coastal beaches..
Have you ever tackled parkour? I can't help myself !! Obviously, not the flips and theatrics (although I will introduce some flair if I'm in the mood & not being watched).....but the principle of moving MOST efficiently from one place to another seems to be hard-wired into me.
The days song..
I can converse with animals - we understand each other.....quickly and reliably.
I think there’s a point where the pros take total-victory in that regard.. but if it’s me taking on the average layman I win every time regardless of fitness level.. experience and technical level is a different story..
That's an Olympic sport now isn't it? You could start training for the next Olympics and go for gold
When I was younger, before I developed asthma, I used to free dive from time to time and could hold my breath for 3.5 to 4 minutes while swimming. Going under the thermocline, where warmer surface water suddenly changes to colder deeper water, is a strange feeling.
Who is your favourite poet? I love reading poetry as much if not more than writing it, mostly I read 20/21C contemporary. Eg: Ted Hughes, Philip Larkin, Sylvia Plath, Lavinia Greenlaw, Alison Brackenbury, Peter Reading, though it’s all built on an understanding of the sound worlds of Shakespeare, Tennyson, the WW1 poets for example.
