I'm not sure if anyone will be interested in this but I thought I'd give it a go.
It's an offshoot of the photography thread.
So, the challenge is to think of a painting that you would like to replicate by any art method including photographically and then post both here.

Here's a challenge to any of our resident artists. Feel free to take it on or not.
The Monarch of the Glen by Sir Edwin Landseer is one of my favourite paintings. Whenever I'm in Edinburgh I always visit the Scottish National Gallery in the hope that it will be on display. It is a truly magnificent painting. This is a photo I took of it on my most recent visit.

I'm no artist so this is my contribution by photograph, nowhere near comparable I know.
I like your picture. Stags are beautiful animals. I was lucky enough to be working in an animal centre from 2013-2017 and got to watch Stags in their natural world regularly.
This is my attempt, admittedly it is lacking the mountains in the background but I'm submitting it anyway.
