I'm hoping I won't be the only person uploading to this thread.
Here's my 1st: the honey bee.
Without this bee we'd be lost as they are essential for crop pollination.
Taken in my garden on an angelica flower.

We rarely get them in our garden but today I may be bracing the stormy weather to buy a buddleia with hopefully some good results.
It's fantastic for butterflies, we inherited ours with the house, it's huge! I think this is a tortoiseshell butterfly in the garden.
There seem to be more butterflies around this year.
Yes a small tortoiseshell. I presume there must be a large one two although don't know.
The butterflies are becoming more prevalent now after a slow start this year. It is lovely to see.
You must have ours then ;c(

June was bad for insects (in our garden), but July has been fabulous.
