I really am out of touch with modern life
Today I was shopping at a supermarket at the self service tills. Suddenly the red light started flashing and I was told to wait for an assistant to verify my age.
My misdemeanor was buying a bottle of Lucozade. It turns out that it is an age restricted item. Over 16s only.
Aren't we all if you were born in the 90s or before modern life makes no sense anymore
