Any Good News?

I see a lot of arguing going on around here so I wanted to talk about good news. Anyone can reply with some good news of their own. Hopefully this isn't too off topic!

Some of you may have noticed that I've said I live in a small, cliquey village where I'm unhappy, but we had our house valued the other day. It is worth more than we thought! So now I'm excitedly looking at new houses that we can afford! A light at the end of the tunnel! So it's good news from me.

Who else has good news?

  • Not a place I have been to, though I have been to Belfast, Armagh and Portadown, and my mother-in-law was from Bangor, Down. We had our honeymoon in Rome, 4 days, then Amalfi for 10 days. Being in Rome was very strange for me, because I know the layout and history of the city so well, I always knew where we were and how to get from one place to another. It was like I had been there before, but I hadn't.

  • You can dream you're on holiday!

  • I was in Magherafelt not so soon later; going for a walk with a friend at Polepatrick Park.

Rome's drivers are almost as mad as those in Dungannon and Coalisland. (where nobody knows how to operate the Mini-Roundabouts)
