Has anyone had embarrassing crushes on cartoon/movie characters as a child/young teenager?
As a child, I had a massive thing for Jafar from Disney's Aladdin, lol. The Jafar fantasy carried on for quite a while when I was a teenager. My friends take the piss out of me for it, and I don't blame them! I also had a thing for Hades from Hercules. No accounting for taste!
As an older teenager, I developed a vampire obsession, and had a thing for Lestat from 'Queen of the Damned' and Gary Oldman as Dracula... oh dear haha
What are yours?
Anyway I should stop procrastinating on here and get on with my college work...
Dunno about crushes, but I so wanted to be the Bionic woman or one of Charlie's Angles, if anyone is old enough to remember them. That or Angela Rippon presenting Eurovision.

I remember Charlie's Angels - in the first series, the script always seemed to need them to be in skimpy costumes and bikinis - until they complained that they were serious actors - and from series 2 they were more like a Freeman's Catalogue dummies and the 'action' was tamed right down..

I agree - I get to see a lot of late-night TV and it's all low-budget horror - blood and guts - just what you need to go to sleep to.

Violence, gore and torture shock me more. It is ironic that people are shocked by sexual things but happy to watch any level of violence. That is the wrong way round IMO.

We've lived a little - we used to edit an alternate lifestyle magazine - you really would not believe what people do behind closed doors.
If you can think of it, someone else already has - and there's a website and an OnlyFans dedicated to it - and probably a convention somewhere. .
the nature of wanting something for a very long time and never getting it is that you keep wanting it, even if maybe if you had had it you would have soon gotten tired of it. Even long after the chances of ever getting it start to get very small you still want it.
