Do you guys actually care about this?

Perhaps we shouldn't use the word 'functioning' 

It seems it gives the wrong impression about 'high functioning' as people who.... don't need support but just have a diagnosis. Which is odd in of itself the more I think about I suppose. 

Perhaps it should be changed more to 'support levels' rather than functioning levels. But that might come with similar if not the same problem as functioning labels. Where those with 'lower support levels' get.... well lower support than they need? But if the emphasis on having the word 'support' would show a 'support need. 

I think it already has been changed. There are now  3 Levels of Autistic Spectrum Condition. ASC L1, ASC L2, and ASC L3 and they relate to the amount of support required.

Oh, i always read them as 'functioning labels' but yea it makes more sense to be levels of support.
