Ear defenders for sensory issues

Hello, I have very bad sensory issues especially for my ears, I wondered what were people’s opinions on ear defenders, and any recommendations for good brands or any alternatives, thank you.

    I use noise cancelling headphones. Sometimes they’re just on silent. Sometimes I use particular music or books to regulate and control my own environment. That will depend on what I’m experiencing, where I am, what I can or can’t manage that day and a whole plethora of other factors. I was thinking only today that my headphones have massively helped me.
