I’m just finishing my 3rd coffee of the day (I really need to cut down again!) and just wondered what hot drink other people prefer? Are you a coffee drinker or do you prefer tea or perhaps you like herbal tea (good flavour recommendations welcome!) or something else? How do you take your tea/coffee/other. I drink strong black coffee with no milk or sugar but with half cold water due to sensitive gums; I don’t drink tea but do drink herbal teas depending on the flavour, lemon, ginger and manuka honey is a current favourite but peppermint and liquorice is a recent fail on the herbal tea front!
Sounds about right!
Coffee
I have two proper ground coffees then switch to decaf. Love tea.

This made me smile. A huge majority of UK tea drinkers take milk... doesn't seem that exotic to me!
For the record I do 3 Caffè latte / day, the occasional Earl Grey (with milk!). If I'm out and neither of those is an option I just have hot water.
I personally find herbal teas a huge scam... you order a £2 "wild blueberry and frangipani" herbal tea, it turns up smelling lovely... and tastes like hot water.
EDIT: Did I just answer some kind of spam-bot message?
I made my choice a long time ago, I have not been drinking coffee for several years. I drink only tea and only natural. By giving up coffee, my quality of life has improved dramatically. It became much easier for me to go in for sports, I gained more strength. I really like the combination of black tea and milk, it is a little exotic, but I really like it. I've tried many tea makers so far this one is chaiheritage.com.au. I advise everyone to switch to tea instead of coffee.
Day shift vs night shift, It’s a case of business vs tiredness.
Might be worth chatting with your GP if all food and drinks have started making you vomit!
It does sound like a good time to work. Must beat the crowded shops and noisy people you get in the day. It sounds like you enjoy itKitsune
I'm not sure. I've always been like it with hot drinks but its recent that other foods and drinks cause it. I guess you change don't you as you get older.
Night shifts are difficult but I still do the odd one from time to time. They are a lot quieter and less busy than a day shift. It seems as though you have a very sensitive gut if any food and drink makes you vomit?
Night shifts sound tiring. I can see why you need the caffeine :) I think it would be impossible for me to do night work what with my vomiting with hot drinks (well any food and drink come to that) and also I love my sleep so would probably never stay awake long enough :D
I only drank water until I was in my early 20s. But night shifts bought with them a need for caffeine. I still drink plenty of water though, it’s a good thing to drink plenty of :-)
I've never liked tea or coffee and drink only water now.
Growing up I would drink orange squash but now it's just water. Hot drinks cause me to visit so definitely no tea or coffee for me.
Do you not have a preference?
No worries! That’s amazing that your family has so many antique items. Good to that they’ve been passed down through the generations. I have an old suitcase of my Grandma’s, one of the old fashioned ones, with clippings of the royal family dating back to 1953. I also have many of her old books which I’ve kept.
Sorry for the late response, hi again!
Yes I believe it is. We have, or I should say, my parents have many items in the house which are now antiques such as old ornaments, an organ and a grandfather clock. I believe its all been in the family for many many years.
Out of it all though the favourite is my mother's teaset.
More like Dunkin' Donuts than Starbucks! ;)
Sorted for Es and Whizz! :)
Caffeine - whatever form.
New find. So good!
Your rebellion against British culture by dipping your biscuits in Coffee rather than Tea just made me smile (in a good way) :-) I've never been a dunker! Too busy eating clean these days to eat biscuits!
