Hi my son is 8yrs old, in he 4 at primary school. He was diagnosed back in may this year but school is really not doing anything to help him. I've seen senco lots of times, she smiles says yes then does nothing. Even taken local sendiass with me as well. They were supposed to refer him to ot back in June, I've chased it up constantly only to be fobbed off with ,it takes a long time, now have found out they hadn't even done it. It has been done now. He is struggling with school, can't follow lots of instruction in class, cries constantly. He does like school. But I'm worried he can't seem to learn spellings, use his imagination in writing etc. Sorry for gripe. School doesn't think he needs an ehcp. What should I do?
