Support for autistic adults

Redacted in view of community rules. And I couldn't find the "delete" option...apologies!

  • Hi Lii, please be aware that the rule below prevents advertising of your own product

    1. Recommendations are welcome. If you’ve found a service, book, helpline, or product helpful, feel free to share. If you are using an affiliate link, please advise of this in your post or comment. We do not allow users to register an account with us primarily to advertise, or sell, products and services.

However feel free to get added to the NAS directory as I'm sure many would find that helpful

  • , hi! Huge apologies, I honestly did not realise I was breaking a rule. My bad. Will definitely bear this in mind. My counselling service is already on the NAS directory.

  • Perhaps check with the mods to see if being in the directory allows you to post here?

  • You are very welcome!

You may also find this website below useful entitled ‘Autistic Mental Health’. It details directories of autistic therapists as well as resources to support autistic adults through counselling:

    https://autisticmentalhealth.uk/

Obviously I know you probably have a much more intuitive connection and understanding of your autistic clients given that is what you specialise in and you are ausomely autistic too!

    After all, am legitimately autistic.

Of course, welcome to your neurokin!

Thanks so much for joining the counselling profession, there is such a significant need for more autistic therapists so that we can get the most out of support and don’t have to cross the neurological divide that so often happens when engaging with non autistic therapists!

  • Aww, thank you, , that's very kind! I will go explore Blush But I'll still hang around here too now that I have corrected my mistakes. After all, am legitimately autistic. Thanks again!
