Hi

I am new here.

i have an 11 recently diagnosed son.  We always though he had random tics but I believe it's stimming. He says random often inappropriate sentences and can often make random noises. Anyone have any experience with this?

    Hi Emily, first I want to apologise for being the first one to comment, I'm not sure how useful my information will be because I'm still waiting to see a psychiatrist about a diagnosis. When I stim I make weird noises and flap my hands and rock and hold my breath  and I'm quite ashamed to admit this but I still suck my thumb (even at the age of 25) Joy  I'm not sure if this is stimming or just to p*ss off my sister but when I'm making weird noises and flapping my hands when I'm either in the same room as my sister or walking past her bedroom and she's watching a movie I have a tendency to repeat what's being said on the tv (it irritates my sister no end)  Joy Wink  What inappropriate sentences does your son make?
