Hi

I have just found out my boy age seven has autisum not much help from the doctors or school was just wondering what happens after you've been told your child has autisum

    Hi Owensmam,

    There's a guide called 'After diagnosis' on the NAS site that it sounds like you might find useful. It has information and advice about what your options are after having your child formally diagnosed, information about the NAS helpline and other services, educational options and so on.

    You can download it here - www.autism.org.uk/.../after-diagnosis.aspx - just click on 'After Diagnosis PDF link download' and it should open up.
