Just diagnosed, aged 43

Hi, I've just had my second appointment with the specialist nurse who did my DISCO assessment. She was lovely and explained it all to me. I'm so relieved, especially as she has specified Asperger's. 

I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (that also took years to be diagnosed, just two years ago) and whilst I was learning about that, I kept coming across references of co-existing autism. I began reading about autism and Aspergers in women and quickly recognised myself.

I'm very relieved to finally have my correct diagnoses.
