Hello Everyone,

Am joining this forum after struggling with various issues for a long time.  Over 4 years ago our son's behaviour became increasingly disorganised and distressing and he has been, until now, under the care of the Early Intervention in Psychosis team.  Not a straighforward case, though, and neither meds nor any other intervention have helped.  In fact, they might have made things worse.  Now they're referring him to the autism team for an assessment and his latest consultant is talking about Asperger's or  high functioning autism.  I don't know what to think any more, but both he and we remain distressed by what's happening and we need answers.
