Hi all!

Hi!

Diagnosed in 2021, still finding my feet, and decided joining this community might be helpful :-)

I'm 24, female, full-time work and tired of all the masking, just got married in October, still figuring out things about being autistic, making sense of how that affected when I was younger and trying to let go. I think that's the hardest part as I grieve my childhood and the things I missed out on, don't have many friends, feeling lonely, but at the same time I don't like people.

It feels like being an alien on another planet and then trying to fit in.

But anyway, enough of that. Some things I like...

  • Horror movies (my favourite is 28 Days Later)
  • Gaming (I'm a PC gamer), currently playing Palworld and Resident Evil 4 remake, favourite is VTM: Bloodlines.
  • I love cheese
  • Researching conspiracy theories, mysteries, spiritualism, unsolved things, aliens (all the weird stuff)

Things I don't like...

  • People
  • Oranges (so gross)
  • Crowds and busy places
  • Big spoons (little spoons make food last longer)

Nice to meet you all :)

  • Hello

"I'm a 40-year-old who loves photography, reading, music, podcasts, coloring, and puzzles.I love cheese as well and got a good cheese shop in my town. What's your favourite?

I attend a social group twice a month where we do arts and crafts, play games, and listen to guest speakers. Find your passions and a supportive community like I have!"

  • Lovely to meet you!

Sounds like you have lots of fab hobbies :-) My favourite cheese has to be a strong cheddar, although I also really love blue cheese! What's your favourite?

That sounds perfect, I wish there was something similar near me, but it's often hard to find!
