Hi my 3 year old granddaughter is having meltdowns that last for hours and cannot be consoled. She is waking most night for hours. My daughter and partner are really struggling and trying to work full time. They have tried lots of different things. She has the same bedtime routine. They are exhausted, anyone been in this situation and can offer some advice. Thank you

I'm sorry that your family have had to cope with these meltdowns. Individuals on the spectrum can often display behaviour that may be challenging. There will generally be a reason for this and it is important to try and understand the trigger for the behaviour when developing strategies.
