In UK, northeast. I always felt at odds with everyone around me, saying or doing wrong thing, just muddled on through life.
My family and close friends think I'm nutty but apparently adore me for being ME. But for most of my 70 + years I felt different didn't make friends easy and simply thought of myself as slow at picking up new tasks, even tho I excelled at school.
It's quite a revelation to now know why I am nutty.

I've always been thought of as a bit nutty by my family and generally eccentric by friends.
Definitely not quite 'normal'.
I'm 60 and female, by-the-way, and recently diagnosed.
