Hi, I’m KittyCandy,
I was diagnosed in 2020 after years and years of growing up not knowing who I really was. Since then I’ve done a lot of self discovery and been doing so much to better understand myself and cope with life on the spectrum. Being an adult with Autism is hard work... not a lot of support and help out there. However, slowly but surely I’m getting there with each day that passes :-)
My hobbies are video making, video watching, writing, reading and listening to music. I like being creative, making different things usually with bits I find round the house. I used to play The Sims but I’ve given gaming up now, it got boring for me in the end. Oh, and I’m into science and history.
I joined here to do some online socialising as I’m not social in RL and currently not much of a voice to use :)
I’m looking forward to meeting everyone.

I have got rid of my daily headache but it will probably come back again this afternoon as I have to go to a DIY store to buy paint samples.

That conjures a very funny image .. but seems like an excellent idea as a person deterrent.
People put me off as well, especially in supermarkets as they push and shove. I miss the social distancing we had during covid, everyone was two meters apart and that suited me much more.

Excellent idea. Everyone at least 3 feet away (10 would be better) ..

Yes, my ears. My hearing isn't the best.
I do hate noise but more than anything, in shops, it's the people being close to me I don't like.
I feel like pushing them away but that would be conceived as antisocial.

Hii. Aw, sorry to hear that hopefully your headache won't come back. Do you have noise cancelling headphones? I use them when I go to the shops and they seem to help.
I'm ok thanks. My throat hurts a lot but I'm resting and listening to music.
