Am new to this site after a recent Diagnosis so i wanted to say Hi and i wish you all well.
Hi Lee_1973 and everyone else that is new to the site.
I received an unofficial diagnosis at the age of about 43. (I'm now 47). Like you, I am relatively new to this site (joined about a week ago).
Well i just joined this Morning and already everyone has been so nice. Sparkling, when you say unofficial does that still stand or has the diagnosis progressed ? Welcome also :-)
Yes, still an unofficial diagnosis. My local CCG wouldn't agree to fund an assessment on the NHS, so had told my GP that if I did an online AQ50 test and scored above a certain amount, it could be assumed I was autistic and noted on my medical records.
