Hi hi, I'm Princess. Diagnosed two years ago. Struggle with autism to be honest but there's no support out there in my area.
Decided to join because I'm lonely and unwell and it's getting on top of me now.
Hi Former Member, welcome to the online community! Have you considered contacting a local National Autistic Society branch? Our branches offer support to local autistic people and their families. If you interesting in checking if there is a local branch near to you, please follow the link below:
https://www.autism.org.uk/what-we-do/local-branches
Our branches are volunteer-led, and as such every branch and group is different. Some are parent support groups, some provide support and information to autistic adults, while others have office premises and run their own a drop-in service. You will need to check with a branch directly for more information on whether they are able to provide a particular service that you are interested in.
If you were interested in starting a branch or group, please email branchservices@nas.org.uk
Otherwise, you may be interested in counselling (NHS & private), you may like to have a look on the Autism Services Directory: https://www.autism.org.uk/directory under ‘Health & Counsellors’.
If there are no counsellors in your area on the directory, you may like to try the links suggested at end of this webpage:

Best wishes,
Anna Mod
Hi hi, thank you so much for the helpful links I will have a look at them and see if any are right for me.
It would be good to get some support, even if it's a little. Some is better than none and I feel a little could go a long way for me. Hopefully I can find and get some.
