I normally lurk on forums, so posting this is making me ridiculously anxious. Sure you know how it goes. I'm 'proper old' and was diagnosed a month before lockdown, Feb 2020 with ASC. Interesting reading and others experiences on here. I hope I'm in the right place. A weird day (or normal, depending on how you look at it I guess). My mental health history is complicated. Later
Welcome, dont be anxious. We are all in a similar boat. How old is "proper old"?
Thank you. I'm 55 so diagnosed at 53. Better late than never I guess.
Yes you're right. I assumed, incorrectly, that being diagnosed at 53 was unusual. I've already realised that's not the case. Thx
You are correct. I am 80+ now and still feel like I did at 21.
Oh ok that's encouraging. Thanks
55 is most certainly NOT proper old, that’s only 2 years away for me!
When you're 70, 55 will be young and at 70, you'll still feel the same as you did at 21.....age means nothing but experience in my eyes...
