hi, i'm a 17 year old AFAB who usually identifies as female but sometimes feels non-binary. online, i go by pronouns she/they.
i was told I was autistic initially by a mental health professional in June. it has been mentioned by another last month & now this month by another who is now trying to.look into.it.
I identify with a lot of ASD traits & a lot makes sense now.
it does bother me that ive went 17 years w/o anyone knowing though
there are people in here who didnt know they where autistic until say 50+ years old ! but yes you should have been diagnosed earlier
ya that's v true & must be so hard to deal w. it's v annoying how it's mainly based around young boys
