Im a late forties Aussie male diagnosed ASD (level 1) two weeks ago and trying to find my way. People have been telling me that I must be Aspergers or asking me if I am Aspergers for roughly the last six years. About six months ago i started thinking maybe they are correct - turns out yes, they were... So here I am!
The name I go by here is from my favourite book series: Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, which I'm currently reading (again).
I have also been reading posts on this forum and getting a lot from it so far but i have so many questions! I hope to contribute too...
Cheers, Just some guy.
Hey, man. I'm reading (listening to the audiobook) to HIGTG too. Greetings back to you from the UK. Diagnosed a few months ago and I'm in my late 40's too.
Top stuff Mykal, I know a few people who enjoy audio books - seems like a good option! I've never tried one - have you listened to many?
So many JSG. I go through 2-3 a week. Since the start of May, I've got through the complete works of Sherlock Homes, Enid Blytons Famous Five, AA Milne's Winnie The Poo, and now started Douglas Adams!
Looks like you found something you like!
I loved the TV Sherlock Holmes - the one with Jeremy Brett. Perfect depiction.
