Took the plunge and joined NAS forums after hovering for a few years.
Been ASD all my life (only I have known).
Unmasked 2 years ago, assessment booked and still waiting due to some novel virus or something (did we not live with virus' before 2019).
Most communities are vile and self effacing so I thought I would try one where I identify with, what can go wrong?
Love gaming, hate gaming communities.
Love photography - the camera protects me in public. (along with the law regarding photography)
Started reading random philosophy recently. (I take from it what I can)
Photography has provided me with a lifetime of entertainment. Gaming communities have shown me just how nasty people can be, but games are better solo or incognito these days.
i have read Nietzsche and Marcus Aurelius ("Mediatations") ----- Neitzsche was hard going and Aureilius was one of best books I have read
Welcome to this Forum
embarked on Beyond Good and Evil recently. It's handle-able so far. Aurelius is on my reading list but I see that Nietzsche was not impressed with Stoicism.
i really like Stochism if that what Marcus was,,,, it is very similar to many Buddhist things I read
I'm a gamer myself and I recently gotten into photography.
I agree, there are gamers out there who take games to seriously and competitive, It's rediculous.
