Hi everyone
My 14 yo daughter is under CAMHs and her clinician is 100 percent certain she is autistic. Not surprised at the diagnosis, however, it has taken a long time to get here. My daughter does not attend school due to anxiety. She has a number of failed placements. She is still on the school roll at a mainstream school.
I am looking for advice on schooling and what provision we should be expecting to be offered in light of an autism diagnosis? We have a meeting with the head teacher next week.
Surrey inclusion have also requested a meeting.
I would be very interested in hearing from anyone with any advice.
Thank you

Hi, thanks I'll do that
I hope you get the advice you're after. I get the impression that lots of people don't notice/read "hello I'm new" posts, so it may be worth asking your question in a post with a header that signals the topic.
