Hi everyone, I'm new here. My name is Nicky, I'm 45 and live with my fiance and 10 year old son who has a dual diagnosis of asd and adhd. I came on here to meet like minded people, particularly those who have similar aged children. Our son is a wonderful happy child who loves life, but the process of looking for high schools is unsettling both him and us. We are in the process of getting an EHCP and don, t et know whether our son will be able to manage in mainstream High school. Anyone in a similar situation?

as an autistic I made it through grammar school always near the bottom in most classes but I made it to university where I did better. my avid reading paid off there. I also have dyslexia.
