so what are your interest? and what age are you? if you are over 25, just roughly say around which 10s group (e.g are you in your 30s or 40s). and are you living independantly.

Yeah I’ve been told it’s almost certainly Aspergers - just have to wait for the formal diagnosis now but anxiety is a huge part of my wellbeing background - the specialist I see thinks it’s all linked into the autism and through all the struggles I’ve had depression has featured a lot in my past... well I say last, I still have it now but I’ve got better at managing it. 

so before let me introduce you to me. so my name is adrian, i was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3 PDD- NOS which means i am in the middle of the spectrum. y special interest is disney characters and costumed characters and fairy tale. the reason i have these interest because i love the cute characters. part of my autism, i have anxiety disorder, ocd, ADD, social integrstion deficit, obsession, emotional problem with delay development. and part of my autism, i am likely to have younger friends (i am in my late teen now) as children like to play around so as i do while dont feel comfortable with people at my age. some of these children who i play with also has autism like me. but part of my autism, i was bullied before.

so you are on the suspect of having asperger/autism? 

I’m a relatively new member so no I haven’t - all I saw was your recent post that said you were feeling quite depressed, beyond that I’ve seen nothing.

if yes, tell me what you know about my background before i introduce myself?

At the moment I guess I’m neither strictly - I’m not working nor a student. I’m planning to go off to university at some stage but due to the autistic traits and anxiety plans are on hold for now. This said I am working on some history projects - so I’m sort of studying I guess - just doing it my way!

As for the autism situation, I’ve moved areas so again lost my place in the referral queue but I’m working with an autism specialist at the moment and she’s going to get it sorted :) so finally I’m going to get the diagnosis. Bare in mind she’s a specialist she has said (and this is pretty much a direct quote) “it will almost certainly come back as Aspergers” - all the screening tools she has used put me firmly in that area - the diagnosis it seems is just a formality. 

How about you? You said you were going through a dark patch... how have you been feeling the last few days? Any better?
