Injections

I am after some advice and wondered if any of you had been through a similar situation. My 12 year old son has an ingrowing toe nail which has got really bad and needs operating on. The NHS appointment was going to be at least 4 months away so we tried the Foot Clinic. He, understandably, had a complete melt down and it was impossible to give him the local anaesthetic injection and had to give up. He is not reassured by getting some ointment to numb the area. He HAS to have the operation. Any advice?

  • I'm so sorry to hear that. Considering it's been four years since you started the thread, please update us on how this unpleasant situation ended. I'm asking because my nephew has the same situation, and I'm eager to help him, but unfortunately, I don't have medical knowledge at all. An acquaintance told me to buy some super cool syringes at guys from https://medbasic.co.uk/ . I'm hesitant and doubt there is a big difference between syringes. It seems to me to be more kinda money extortion. Any help would be highly appreciated! Many thanks for considering my request!
