Hi everyone. I am new in the forum and new in Uk.
My family and I had just moved to Cambridge from Barcelona, Spain. Our young son (5 years old) has been diagnosed with treats of Autism in Spain. He had started the School (private) here in Cambridge and the school told us that he needs a 1-to-1 assistant. We are lost on how we have to proceed with the school, the GP and the Council.
On the other hand, we would our son to be diagnosis also here in the UK. We have been in his GP and he told us that the NHS specialist normally have long waiting lists and the process can take a long time. Do you know any private specialist that you can recommend who can diagnose my son and then speed up the process?
Thank you in advance.
Thank you for the quick replays. Both are exactly what I was looking for. Very helpful, thank you very much.
