    I find it strange that a lot of autistic people are lonely but at the same time not many want to friend someone, including me.

    I would like to meet someone but at the same time I am terrified if I would need to meet someone.

    How are you with friends in general? I think I have blocks at various levels: just initially making contact or small talk, actually finding something in common, and expressing romantic interest. I suppose these things can be learned, and it's not usually manipulative to just try to learn the tricks typical people use without thinking.
