Aspie Women (and guest visitors)

This is obviously a conversation that isn't worn out. Personally I'm quite convinced that menopause is what has tipped me over the edge and made my thinking and behaviour recognisably autistic and ADHD-istic.

It's still a hammer blow but it feels like there's a chance of being kinder to myself in the future. Maybe we are the research...

I agree that the traits have always been there but they were so well masked that they weren't visible to me.  The last few months have been like peeling an onion always finding another layer of complexity and I still find it quite mind blowing that I never realised all of these obvious things about myself.

I didn't as I'm suffering from too much input but I pronably should have...

I find it much easier to see what is where on my laptop or PC but you seem to manage pretty well.

On that positive note time for me to get some rest so hope to catch up with you all tomorrow. ()()()

A good thought, just me and pc's and filing and ever finding anything again are not compatible. That probably wouldn't apply to your idea if I understood it!

Did you sign up to the adhd expo so far the 15min talks have been very practical and would recommend them. 

I don't like it much either! Got loads of "housekeeping " to do on all devices. 

I do find it quite difficult to orientate at times but phone easier than carrying my laptop about ( almost redundant!). Is it really much better on a laptop or pc? Perhaps I should have a look. I would, think I actually hate email!

I don't know how you keep up with any of this just on a phone Missy, I'm on mine now and it's really hard to find anything and orientate yourself.

My wrist is a lot better at the moment thank you, hopefully I won't do anything to make it worse again.

I stepped back toward the real world on Saturday and posted some work on Instagram for the first time in months, it quickly resulted in 40 odd comments to answer individually, which was the origial cause of trouble. I managed though and it only made me shake a bit! 

Visited my Mum and Step Dad yesterday for roast dinner and it was enjoyable more than stressful which is a result.

I know. Haven't quite got to the impatient got to get on stage but pleased I managed a couple of basic things. Spoke to my neighbour over the fence which was exhausting. Thanks for reminding me and caring x

Anything can be distracting people climbing tall masts and gang planks and so on. What thoughts are you struggling with ? Overload not nice. I have had a lot of overload lately so I just tried to shut it all out whilst I was ill... that in itself was a relief. Sometimes you just have to shutdown. I missed you too but just couldn't join in it all got a bit much sorry.

Punishment for distracting the captain is climbing the mast to the crows nest,You know that mast?big round pole,easy for pole dancers to climb Lol.
