Do you like people?

I always say that I hate people but I don’t hate everyone. I can connect with others if they share my same values and after analysis I deem them as being truthful. I value anyone who is against selfishness and can put others before themselves sometimes. I like people who don’t have an underlying motive for being nice and appreciate honesty even if that is sometimes not what you would like to hear. 

I do very often feel let down by others though and particularly the people I know very well. This then puts me on high alert and then can be quite untrusting towards them.
